Ideas/Guess on the "Deal" for 2006?

3yrs ago it was "pay for 4 stay for 7"
2yrs ago it was "pay for 5 stay for 7"
This yr it was the free dining plan

Anyone have any ideas or guess on what they will do for 2006?

It depends on how well the travel industry fares in 2006.

There have been fewer discounts this year.

Yes...But do you mean discounts for early 2006 or are we talking about Fall discounts for next yr. Are the discounts listed above for previous yrs all for the fall months like free dining was??

I think they all revolved around end of summer/beginning of fall time frame. I would ideally love to go Oct/Nov time frame but am flexibile if they offered something better.

I'm hoping that because of fuel costs and airfare costs rising, that Disney will have to offer something decent for January and February since this is the timeframe that most American's will be seeing higher gas, heating and air travel costs.

I agree. WDW sometimes needs a reason for lower rates. I think that the higher oil prices might force lots of people to change travel plans. This would be an excellent reason. I'm hearing utility costs could double or triple.
