Ideas for the 2 Full Service Restaurants at SSR?

This was on last night and I forgot to Tivo it so I am going to watch it today! Pretty cool huh? If anyone gets food Network it is Rachel Ray's show $40 a day! It is how to eat in different spots all over the world for only $40. Today is Saratoga NY. But it can give us ideas for restaurants.
I wish she would do WDW!

To eat like she does at Disney on $40 day would truly be "magical".

oops! and I meant to add - thank GOODNESS it appears that their will be sit down restaurants at SSR. Its already a nightmare getting into most of the restaurants at DTD. I cannot honestly believe that this would take away from the DTD $$$$ spent on food.

Well the show on Saratoga on the food network was 2:30am so that must have been what I fell asleep to last night which stinks because they are not reshowing it. So it wasn't on today at 2;30pm I am sorry.

I would like to see a menu style restaurant vs. a buffet. Definitely like the racetrack theme.

I LOVE THE NY diner theme!!!!

What about a KATZ type Deli (with the mile high pastrami sandwiches) But that is more like NYC rather than upstate NY.

The locals from the real Saratoga Ny will have to help us on this. I have never been there

I read your list and I think Hatties would be a GREAT idea. Nothing is more synonymous with Saratoga, at least for many of us locals, than Hatties. It's been around for decades and I can still remember when, many years ago, Hattie herself had a stand right at the track! Every August she would dish out thousands of fried chicken dinners and great homemade lemonade to Saratoga visitors. Anyone who likes real southern style comfort food and would like to experience Saratoga, as authentic as it gets, would LOVE a restaurant themed after Hatties.
