Ideas for Surprise trip needed!

It's partially a surprise trip, I am taking my mom to WDW in Sept. 6-12th she knows we are going because the pin event is the weekend of the 9th-11th. She thinks we are staying at Pop, but we are staying at BWV (her favorite!!!) Any other suggestions on how to surprise mom? This is her birthday present, even though her birthday is a month earlier! I'm not sure whether to ask her to "just go over to boardwalk and walk around before we check in" or tell her on her birthday! I'd love some other ideas to help make this a special trip. It's just the 2 of us!

That is so precious, just you and your mom. A scavenger hunt before you leave is always a good idea. My family uses that for many Christmas gifts and it's always a blast. I know it wouldn't be a suprise when you got there but it would be a great way to tell her the news!
