ideas for something special

Hi everyone...heres my first post!

Were a family of 11 coming from the UK in September and its likely at least another 3 will be adding on to come with us.

The reason for our trip is that my aunt is terminally ill with pamcreatic cancer amd we want to make lots of memories while we still can. Im looking for some surprises while were there to really make it the holiday of a lifetime.

So far Ive came across the firework cruises (no good if the extras add on as there will be too many of us) the keys to the kingdom type tour. Possibly a room upgrade to AKL for one night as shes always fancied it but its way too much money!

So do you know of anything we could do that would be special and memorable for my aunt (shes only 49 and a very young 49. Although shes terminally ill shes doing really well, you wouldnt know she was ill at all)

With your family size, you may want to consider the Wishes Dessert Party in the Tomorrowland Terrace. For about $25 per per adult, you get exclusive access to a pretty good dessert and drink bar along with uncrowded and unobtrusive view of the Castle Projection Show and Wishes. Only about 75 total people are allowed in the party... perfect for your large group. The really neat part is when Tinkerbell "flies" from the Castle... she flies directly over the Tomorrowland Terrace... about 15 feet away from where we were standing at the rails. The food was fantastic, the view was great, the space/room you have is priceless!

Welcome!!!! Let's see Special events in Sept. that I can think of are: Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party (On Selected Nights, Late Sept.), & "Night of Joy" that is a Christian music festival (Not sure of the Date). Other ideas are: The Wishes Dessert Party, You can have a family Portrait Session, Disney has many tours to choose from, that's about all the ideas I have at the moment. at one of your sit down meals you could have a special cake ordered. I looked into for my anniversary this July and they have some cool cakes. You could have it decorated with her favorite character.
