Do you have an idea of budget and where would it be - are you a Disney fanatic or whould you do something special at Seaworld / US etc?

Something we did last year that we really enjoyed was High Tea at Grand Floridian, Pics in my thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2524489&page=23

Tried doing it again this last trip but it was booked up.

I've thought about doing this a few times but could never really find much information and I always thought it was expensive. :confused3

I must have missed that page in your review as I didn't see it, you have now convinced me to go.

Just booked for our first Magic Kingdom day and will leave for the GF and tea and scones, going to make a surprise for the in-laws.

Thanks

We felt it was very reasonable for what we had, scones, cream & jam $4.50, trifle is $6.95. More info & price list here http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=305
It was just something totally different I had never done before, a great relaxing hour away from the parks.
Slightly cheaper than The Ritz at £39pp:scared1: http://www.afternoontea.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2&Itemid=3

I'd never really looked at the menu until last night and must admit thought it was quite reasonable and talked DH into it. MIL loves the Floridian so it should be a nice treat, think I'm going to book it for September too when were staying there.

Thanks Wayneg I have just made a reservation for the Garden room for the 15th august 4pm . We are from plymouth so my parents love there cream teas so hopefully they will enjoy this surprise :thumbsup2
