ideas for scavenger hunt/bday party invite

My BF asked me to make 30 invites for her daughter's 16th bday party. Her favorite color is purple and the party will be a scavenger hunt.

I have a cricut, lots of carts (and I love an excuse to buy another one) and cuttlebug.

Anyone have any ideas?

Two ideas came to mind:

1. a house, tree, and grass. Then, little things like you'd search for in a scavenger hunt, peeking out from behind the tree, or in the grass, or near the house.

2. A clipboard with a list on it and then a bag with some things on the list in it.

Oh, and maybe just the clipboard with the list and a magnifying glass would work.
