Just checking ahead on the NHC website, it could be rainy during our trip. We are staying at BCV next week, not going to the parks, just hoping to relax by the pool and explore Disney property.

We will have a car for a few days. I am worried that it will be rainy. Any ideas on what you've done when it rains (both at BCV and other locations on property). Thanks!

Are you traveling with kids or is it just adults? If adults, what about Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian and a little resort hoping on the monorail?

If you are with kids, I don't know about BCV but at OKW, they have a place where kids can do scheduled crafts and a game room. It's also close enough that you could hop over to DTD for lunch and shopping. DTD isn't bad for a rainy day. There is also an arcade at BC right next to Beaches and Cream.

How old are your kids? That might help people suggest ideas for you and your family.

Just adults - two married couples in the their later 20's.

I know BWV had some sort of community room. Wasn't sure if that also existed at BCV.

Some of the things we do on rainy days

- Take Monorail around, shop and eat
- If you into video games, Disney Quest is great
- Rent a movie (free at BCV store)
- swim if no lightning (your wet so rain is not a prob)
- Eat - My favorite - Try a dinner show..hoop de do or the one at poly
- I am sure I will spell this wrong by Circ delasole - the show at DTD
- Check out the Magic store in DTD (they do demos)
- Go see a movie in DTD (like 24 screens)
- Go to the parks anyway (its only rain), it keeps the crowds down
- Eat at ESPN and watch football....
- Workout - from all the eating
- Get a message at the spa (my wife's fav)
- Pin Trade
- Sleep
- And my last fav - lets see 2 single people, no kids....:thumbsup2

What he said!!

What about going to the spa at either GF or SSR? After the spa you can go for a nice late lunch/early dinner. From SSR you can get to DTD and there are alot of restaurants. By the time you do both the rain will be gone!

P.S. I ditto all the other ideas from the previous post too!

Go to Beaches and Cream and order up the Kitchen Sink!!!
Go ahead and swim, you're going to get wet anyways (we spent a rainy day at Blizzard Beach and had a great time)
Be sure to go hit up the Adventurers Club before it closes... Kungaloosh!
Head over to Prime or Premier Outlets (wife liked Prime, bought 2 Coach bags for the price of 1)
Check out Ghiradelli Chocolate and Ice Cream shop at DTD, ask for Charlie.
Ride the monorails
