Ideas For Orlando Resort/Hotel Weekend Getaway?

We have recently moved to the Orlando area, and I am looking to book a weekend at an area resort in September. I thought I would ask here and see if those of you that have stayed off site have any suggestions.

We would like an upscale hotel or resort with great pools, and maybe some activities for the kids.

We have stayed at the deluxe hotels on property, and have also thought about the Universal resorts, but the prices even with FL resident/annual pass discounts are more than what I want to pay for a small weekend trip.

I have read good things about Marriott's Cypress Harbour. It gets good reviews on tripadvisor. I am sure others will have more suggestions.

The Nick Hotel has a lot of kids activities and great pool areas. And I've heard wonderful things about the activities at the Bonnett Creek Resort, although, to me it is a bit pricey.

forgot the Bonnett Creek is being developed - shortly there will be a Hilton and some other resorts that I don't remember.

so might try them when it opens.
