My DD is playing softball at Disney's Wide World of Sports in July with her travel team. She is also graduating from high school in June and headed to college in the fall. Originally my DH and I were both going with her while our boys were at Boy Scout camp. Unfortunately they now need chaperones for Boy Scout camp so DH is going with the boys and DD and I get a Mommy/Daughter trip! (And, DH really is not "into" Disney like we are!) She and I are both excited to be going girls only!

So, I'm looking for different ideas that the two of us can do that we would not normally do with the family. I have already booked us for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour as we have always wanted to do this. Our only issue is that we won't know when she is playing until we get there so if it is something that we need to reserve, we have to be able to cancel if necessary.

What are your ideas????

Have done this twice with DS for baseball. Honestly, one on one time was pretty limited as DS and team wanted to do things together....That's what it's about anyway, the kids being able to enjoy the time together.

With the limited time we did have just us two, we chose more boy things. My suggestion for you and DD would be maybe a spa appointment, special dinner or something you both like and never get the chance when everyone is around.

Good luck, it's definitely a fun time.

DD and I did a mother/daughter trip a few years ago (she was 12 at the time). In addition to regular park touring, we went to see Cirque, we tried some new restaurants, and we did the Wishes Dessert Party.

I did a mother daughter trip. we did the keys to the kingdom tour. It was fun! We did silly stuff like seeing how many times we could ride potc in a row - we did 6 times (there were no lines during the fireworks that night!). Swimming in the quiet pool at CBR at 1 am! Lots of shopping. Lots of dessert eating.
