Ideas for inexpensive souvenirs for the whole class?

How about purchasing a postcard, have some Disney Characters sign it, then mail it back to your class. Write a message on the postcard from Mickey. Also, there is a store in the Downtown Disney Marketplace called Mickey's Mart where everything is $10.00 and under.

I think it's great that you are doing this for your class.
On our last trip my DS brought back souvenirs for his Kindergarden class.
We were staying at AKL, so, I asked the CM at the Zawadi Marketplace for extra bags during a purchase. I bought the bundled lollipops that are shaped like mickey heads and post cards showing AK and AKL.......... I told her what the bags were for and she gave me 25 extra bags for free.

Also, one day we bumped into our mousekeeper and I told her we loved our towel animal from a few days prior, anyway, since she seemed so nice I asked her if I could get soaps for my DS's class....... she said sure......... and she gave me 25 soaps, I was suprised she did it!!! However, I didn't want to push my luck for the shampoo or lotion!!!! LOL

After the trip we went to Daytona for a few days, we ended up having to run to the drugstore and they had light up pens with the characters on the top for $1.00 each, I got the boys mickey and the girls minnie. ( I've since seen these at the dollar store and wal-mart).

I put all the goodies and some hard candies in the bags and the kids LOVED them. The parents seemed to really love it as well, as MANY of them sent Thank You notes and others I know called. I think the kids really feel special when you do something like this for them. I also wanted to say that DS has gotten things from other classmates as well, one went to Disney also, the other to Hawaii, he got disney pencils, and a hawaii fridge magnet and post card.

Also, and I didn't think of it beforehand or I'd have done it, you could always get the postcards while you are in florida and write a note from a character and then mail it to each student at home. I did it for a little boy while we were on the trip ( I was his fairygodmailer) but I just didn't put it together to do it for his class. Someone did this for my DS before our trip and he was beyond excited to receive a postcard from Mickey!!! **** TIP.... do a search for Walt Disney Font.......... then make sure when you write the postcard to write it in that font........ it looks "authentic" ;) that way!!!! PLUS, if you mail them from the Magic Kingdom, then that it what is postmarked on the card!!!

**** If anyone is interested in the fairygodmailer info, just do a search for the thread on here!! It is great to do for your own child or someone elses!!!
Good Luck........ Have Fun!!!!
