Hi -- We have a 5 pm flight the day we leave. We are renting a car for the day. Any great ideas for what we can do that day with 3 kids 10, 12, and 14. Thanks for all your help.

Hi Lynn

I assume you mean after your cruise. One great way to spend some time before your flight is to visit Kennedy Space Center.

My nephews were 8 and 10 when I took them and they seemed to enjoy it thoroughly.

I'm sure others will have great ideas as well.

You can rent a "day room" at the airport Hyatt too. I think it is $60.00 (someone correct me if I am wrong, please) and you can have a nap, swim, get some lunch and it would be a heck of a lot more comfortable than hanging around the airport. :)

Try DownTown Disney.

We love to shop and can't get enough 'of the mouse'. Also, many nice places to get something to eat.

I'd recommend an airboat ride and lunch at The Lone Cabbage Fish Camp.

Last time we had a 2:30 flight so spent the day at downtown disney- plenty of neat shops to kill time-DS loved the lego store with all the displays-there is a huge sea monster in the lagoon made of legos etc. There is a McDonalds for a cheap lunch or the rainforest cafe for a pricey one.
This time we are going to do gatorland.

There is also a huge movie theater in the Downtown Disney complex. That could be a fun way to kill a few hours.
