Ideas for first night's dinner?

Another question from me, sorry!

We are arriving at AKL on a Tuesday, checking in around 8-9 am. Then we are going to hit AK. Any good ideas for our first night's dinner at the World? It doesn't have to be at AK (we'll have a car), and we are doing Chef Mickey's the very next morning, so it doesn't have to be a character meal. Any thoughts/suggestions?

It's at Fort Wilderness in Pioneer Hall. You can make your Priority Seating for this well in advance (more than a year, I believe). But it's very popular so if you do decide you'd like to try it, make sure you call a.s.a.p.!!

I was going to suggest Chef Mickeys (that's my family's first night tradition) but since you'll be there in the morning...hmmmm.

Hoop De Doo is a good idea, or how about O'Hana? We've never been to O'hana, but I hear good things and it's on our "must" list!

Absolutley go to the Hood Dee Doo Revue!!!!

I went with my nephew for the first time last July and we thought it was great fun!

I agree with Kae. Boma is delicious, and it will be very convenient for you! We just booked that as our first night dinner (staying at WL; not so convenient for us, but delicious and worth bringing our tired selves over on the first night for )

You will have already had a big day.......if it were me, I would eat at AKL and then enjoy a peaceful walk around the resort, sit by the firepit, check out the night vision goggles to see the animals, relax on the balcony in my pjs and then go to bed....refreshed for the next day.

Boma is really good and we have had some good meals at the Rain Forest at AK. The portions are big so plan on sharing a meal!
