Need to keep my budget to under $1400. The kids are off the week of 4/11 for some bizarre reason this year so no free babysitting this year since my mom works in another school district that has a normal spring break.

I've been signed up for the give a day promotion- making 10 cat blankets from each of the family and will be handing them in on saturday- so I will have the voucher. Will exch the free one day ticket for an upgrade to the Fl Res 4-day pass for an additional $40 a person- ticket total $160.

4 days at Bonnet Creek in a 2 bedroom condo- $400. We're driving of course so I am not counting the food staples I'll bring- cereal, fruit, rolls, cold cuts snacks- wine, soda, milk & juice as part of the budget since this will come from my reg shopping budget. We have two soft coolers that we can use to pack sandwiches, snacks & drinks for the parks. But we're used to buying food at the park so I am assuming $75 a day for food anyway. We do have a gift cert for House of Blues in DTD and $50 in Chili's gift cards so at least two meals are covered. Bonnet Creek has a lot of activities so I think we'll arrive early sunday to check in and take advantage of the resort and use the tickets Mon- thursday. Since we check out thursday- I am thinking of booking Royal Pacific by universal(pin code gets this for $94) and going to a universal park or aquatica (which dh & the kids are really looking forward to doing)

Does all of this sound feasible? If I need to go on the cheap for the last nite- I may try for Priceline to get the Radisson Celebration Resort since a lot of people get it under $50. Is universal still doing the movie/dinner deal for $25? that might be an option for thursday nite.

What other ideas can you suggest?

Remember if you do Royal Pacific there is a parking/resort charge which does bring the cost of the room up per night. Unfortunately, I don't know the going rate.

I am interested in the Royal Pacific deal. Can anyone use the code? WE have housing but I was looking into a Universal deal myself. Appreciate any info!

I have been plugging this site I found ... Half Off Depot
you can get great deals on attraction tickets
not Universal or Disney, but things like Ripleys, Gatorland, and WOnderworks
(like ten dollars per ticket!)

Recently they sent out pins to some people for free quick service dining from 2/28-7/3. I priced it out the other day for May when some kinda internet anomaly was going on that let you enter the pin code for myself- for 2 adults, all star music was $889 with tickets (non park-hopper)... Coronado Springs came to about $1000. Perhaps April will be the same or cheaper- if so you may be able to do 4 people for under $1400 :woohoo:
