ideas for easter basket and surprises?

Hi! I'm going to WDW for Easter and we will be arriving the night before. I would love to have small baskets for the kids with Disney things since Easter will be the first full day of our first trip to WDW. I'm having trouble finding things locally, and I am looking for ideas. I thought about pins and a lanyard, but the disney store here in Charlotte doesn't carry them. I thought about an official Disney autograph book, but same problem. I'd appreciate any ideas you have with where to get them! If something could show up on Easter morning without me sneaking away on Saturday night, I would love to surprise the kids. They are 5, 8, and 11, and I think the older kids are getting suspicious about these things! Thanks!

Hi pnelson384! We are from right down the road in Mooresville! We will be coming home from WDW the day you are leaving, but I would also like to have an Easter basket of some type for ds(8) while there! So, I would also love some ideas! I had thought about e-mailing Jane @Gifts of a lifetime to see if they will be offering anything special for Easter! have a great trip!

Hey, small world, we are about 15-20 minutes from Mooresville. My mom grew up there!

As for the baskets, I have found some little things like princess lip balm at Dollar tree, and some items at big lots. If you are staying on site and could get down stairs to the gift shop that would be ideal. So many wonderful items to start the trip. My DS loved the penny press machines last year. They sell the books in the gift shops and you could add a roll of quarters or pennies. Those autograph books and pens of course are there as well a t-shirts, hats, candy, oh i could go wild filling a basket there. Perhaps DH could take them for a swim while you shop a little bit.
