Help! I need ideas for 2 breakfasts outside the parks. We have planned to do the Kona Cafe and did Boma our last trip, so we want to try something different. It will be me and DH, so we want a nice sit-down leisurely breakfast. Any ideas?
Spoodles has a nice breakfast. Used to be buffet, but now you order off the menu.
Olivia's at OKW is also a very good breakfast. If it is warm, you can sit on the patio and eat outside. It's usually not very crowded and you can sit and enjoy your coffee.
What about the Grand Floridian Cafe? You can see pictures of restaurants at www.mouseplanet.com. My in-laws are looking for sit-down b-fasts. My very short list for them was Boma, GFC, Kona Cafe, and Whispering Canyon (or was it Artist Point?) . My MIL would love the theming of WL, especially if the Christmas decorations are up.
This is not a sit down breakfast but the best breakfast by far is over in Fort Wilderness at the Trails End. It is a buffet but very leisurely and great food. it is about $8.00 per person. We take the boat ride over there and enjoy the scenery as well. This is an untapped resourse and a great value. it offers such a neat escape from the busy parks. We love it.
I particularly enjoyed breakfast at Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside. The food was good, the service was excellent, and, unless you're there very early, the wait is minimal. I can't wait to eat there again!
