Two threads in one, really.

1) Any cool things to do for birthdays in WDW? My best friend is turning 15 the day we arrive (EPCOT; dinner at Rose & Crown). Anything really cool to make this trip special for her? (it's her first time)

2) My birthday is next week ( ). My friends and I aren't sure what to do. It'll be my 15. Mom can drive us places (Dad has Red Sox tix). I've already seen Mamma Mia! (but I'd see it again!) but what else is there to see? Should we go to Dave and Buster's at the mall? Build a Bear for fun?

Any ideas? There'd be 3 of us, ages 15, 15, and 14.

Maybe put together like a princess/welcome to WDW basket for her. Get her a crown and like a sash that says "birthday girl" or something for her to wear. Shout out to everyone that it's her birthday!

Good idea!

But she's not girly =/

I'm thinking of getting her one of those Birthday Buttons, though ;)

Well I've seen some amazing cakes they serve in WDW in the Dining/Restaurants board. They have several designs and themes and they write a personalized wish on it! You have to preorder it. For more info check that board, I think there is an entire thread just for the cakes!

So how about a Disney cake!

Also, the princess gift basket idea sounds wonderful!:thumbsup2

As for your birthday..have you seen The Dark Knight?;)

Although if you don't want to see a Batman movie for your birthday, I understand!:goodvibes

Well, it's Disney! Or you could get her ears or a sorcerers hat!

Best movie ever.

Definately get a birthday badge, CM's spot them all the time and you never know what they might do. If you stand near a CM always talk loudly about how "its your friend's birthday and her first trip to Disney World" and hope the CM taps you on the shoulder and tries to sort something nice out for you.

Or ask a CM when you get there if there is anything particularly nice to do, generally CMs love to help :)

Great ideas, guys!

I think I'll try to do something fun for dinner. Just a little something ;)

For my birthday...Batman? Ehhh. Not for me!

Maybe Wall-E, if we can :)

Bat Man was a really good movie I thought.
and at WDW Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant is always cool :)

Has anyone eaten at Rose & Crown?

What are the desserts like there?

Keep in mind, my friend is allergic to nuts, so no ideas with those, please.
