I am thinking of trying to figure out a way to have some kind of "Welcome" surprise for the kids when we arrive at our resort.

We are staying at the POLY and I'd love to have ears and maybe some Disney snacks waiting. I see the official Disney florist will do this but the options are pretty expensive for what I want. Any suggestions or info on something you have done for your family in the past? Thanks for any ideas!!

The hard part about this is no company or employee will put anything into your room after you check in/have been inside it, or something along those lines. So it's nearly impossible to have something waiting for you when upon your arrival. You'd have to find a way to distract your children and have another party member set up the surprise before the children enter the room.

Etsy always has some cute stuff, and you can always purchase some items online and make your own cute little gift basket to bring along.

We had a pretty good experience with Disney Floral. There is a super basic package that came with Mickey ears and a couple snacks that was pretty reasonable. The deal with the set up is that they can't put it in there until you have been assigned a room. So, it may not show up until after you return from dinner or something. But, we arrived a couple hours after our room was available and the gift was already there.
