Ideas for a tween Marvel fan?

Hi All -
I'm taking my newly 11 year old daughter for a quick surprise trip to DL first weekend of May- taking advantage of the pre-SWGE deals.

Though we don't live in CA, we are DL veterans. After a brief (preschool age) infatuation with princesses, our trips have mostly centered on big rides, pin trading, and stalking Chip and Dale. We have also generally avoided DCA except for quick dips in to ride GOTG and Radiator Springs 1-2x a day.

I have no doubt we'll have fun whatever we do. But my daughter is a BIG Marvel fan now, and I know most/all things Marvel must be centered at DCA. Any advice? Anyone know of any special events or things I should ask CMs about? Any special food items or souvenirs?

Also, I purchased S+ annuals passes for us for this trip (first time passholders) so maybe there's something annual pass related I could take advantage of?

Check the app for the Marvel characters. They are normally out around the backlot area. I’ve seen Black Panther, Captain America, Spider-Man, Groot, and Captain Marvel (havent seen her yet, but she is out). Some of them have photopass with them so you can use the photopass benefit that’s included in your passes.

If you have Sig+ APs, then you'll have every day of the year to take advantage of visiting the parks!! (If you recently purchased, maybe it'll overlap with the opening of the new Marvel area in DCA in 2020!!)

DCA has GotG, and the Marvel meet & greets. I think it's Spider-Man, Cap, and Captain Marvel currently. Also GotG characters have a "dance party" and meet & greet over by their attraction.

Current AP bonus (button & photo op) is tied to Food & Wine, which will be over by May. Not sure what's in store after that.

Not sure if it overlaps with your dates, but first week of May DCA is hosting an after hours event called Heroes Assemble which is focused on Marvel characters. It costs extra but could be worth checking out.
