Ideas for a non park day

It looks like it's gonna be a rainy day our first day which we had kind of planned as a settle in/swim day. Without the option of swimming I'm looking for some other non park fun ideas. Any Suggestions?

Unless there is lightning within 5 miles (and the lifeguards will clear the pool area in that case) and assuming everyone is swimming (no one is sunbathing or using electronics), there's no problem swimming in the rain. And you nearly get the pool to yourself since everyone thinks there IS something odd about it.

Good point. I have no problem swimming in the rain!

Where are you staying? Ask at the front desk if there are any activities going on. At the Poly they sometimes have demonstrations on how to make leis, hula lessons, etc.

If you don't mind spending a little, you can go to Disney Quest. Totally indoors.

Go over to AKL and walk around inside. There are many windows to view the animal from.

It was raining when we flew in and we still did Downtown Disney. It was more 'misting' than actually raining though.
