Ideas for a 50th birthday gift?

Anyone have a good idea for a gift for someone who already has everything? Gift cert. is not a good idea because this person is rather wealthy and I would feel stupid giving money for something. I am looking for a nice token type of gift. Wine is not a good idea either as this person is a wine collector and I could not possibley afford anything that they care about.

What about making a donation in their honor for a local charity that might be of interest to the birthday person? I.e. if they like animals, maybe a donation to the local humane society.

good idea. I don't know the person well enough to know what charity would be best, and I am running short on time.

What about making up some sort of hamper...wine, glasses, stirers or a picnic hamper...crackers, cheeses etc?

How about burning a CD containing the most popular hits from the year this person turned 18? (Those songs are usually are favorites for the rest of our lives). Be sure and include a card explaining why you picked the songs you did.
