I have been to US/IOA several times. However, I have never been with a toddler. I need Universal experts to tell me what I should plan for my 3 year old son. He loves Nicktoons and Spidermann--oooo and Cat in the Hat. Any and all suggestions will be great!! Also, we are staying at HRH or RPR. THANKS SO MUCH!!

I am watching to see what answers you get. This is our 1st time to UA/IOA and my youngest is 3 also.

i'm going w/ our 2 dds in 2 weeks - one is 10 months, the other will be turning 3. it's our first time w/ kids so i'll report back but i'm planning on the following (all of the names might not be accurate): IOA - p.flyers, flying unicorn, all of seuss landing, me ship, the olive, camp jurassic, jurassic discovery center, stopping by the talking fountain. Searching for characters & getting pictures w/ them & autographs in both parks - she loved this at Disney. USF - Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, & the kid area which includes Animal Planet show, Barney show, Fievel's Playland, Curious George's play area, Woody coaster, ET. Hope this helps.

thanks so much everyone! There will be PLENTY for him to do. He is going to have a terrific time! :Pinkbounc

I think it's pretty safe to say that DD (6) prefers these two parks to the Disney ones :rolleyes1
She was 3 the first time we visited and we came back home with most of our WDW ticket days left :flower:
You'll have a great time.

Just be sure to bring his bathing suit. There are several areas at the parks where he'll want to get wet. Specifically, at IOA: If I Ran the Zoo, Me Ship the Olive and Camp Jurassic. I'd actually try to keep your little guy out of Camp Jurassic though. Little ones can get lost easily. It's one of those areas where you're never sure where they'll be coming out. At Universal Studios: Feivel's Playland and Curious George. At Curious George, it's not just damp--it's soaked to the bone! This area is just great for the kids though. Head into Woody Woodpecker's KidZone only after you've seen all the adult things you want to because once the kids get into this area, you're not getting them out!

Have a fun trip.
