My husband and I are going on a 2nd honeymoon to WDW :Pinkbounc in Feb! We have had our kids with us on every trip up til now, and I am kinda at a loss as to what cool things there are for couples to do when there are no little ones to look after.

So...we are renting a Villa at the Boardwalk and that is as far as I have gotten.

:earsgirl: :earsboy:
Any suggestions on:
1. romantic things to do
2. places to eat
3. favorite rides for couples

My brain is still in Mommy mode! HELP!

we took a horse and carriage ride at the port orleans riverside (theyre $35, they also go from the wilderness lodge too i think). its really nice and romantic to ride around the resorts, and enjoy a cuddle under the big blanket.
be sure to get the congratulations badges from guest services at the parks, you get loads of attention from cast members and lots of congratulations.
as for places to eat, victoria and alberts at the grand floridian is always a popular choice, as is california grill and citricos.
and for rides, try the ones with 2 people cars like the haunted mansion, you can be scared(!?) together.

not a lot of suggestions i know, but my mind has gone blank! but be sure to remember why you're there together and have a great time, it'll be romantic without you even trying. have a great honeymoon

check out different "special" tours that are offered.

We did the Around the World at Epcot Segway tour...and it was a BLAST!!! :cool1:

I've heard about the "Keys to the Kingdom Tour" and I'm sure there are lots others (try the theme parks and attractions board for ideas).

It all depends on your interests and how much you are willing to spend! :earboy2:

You could look into doing a couples massage possibly at the Floridian..? Just a thought!

Callalily6, DH and I are going later this month for our 19th anniversary-practicing for next year. ;) Thanks for posting. I'll be watching for ideas, too! So far we are staying in a king suite at Doubletree and planning to enjoy the jacuzzi without needing to keep an eye on little ones. We'd like to eat at LeCellier, but I've been very lazy about making ADRs since we just got back from a family trip. I think the best thing will be riding the rides together, since we usually take turns sitting out w/dd7 who prefers to pin-trade rather than ride.

Let's see... I won't repeat anything above

Cirque de Soleil--HIGHLY recommend!
Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island
Browsing stores, etc. at DD
Dinner at SciFi in MGM (think drive in movie )
Horseback riding at FW
Jellyrolls or Atlantic Dance Hall at Boardwalk
Luau at the Poly
Golf? (well, my DH and I would like that )
Keys to the Kingdom Tour

and...ahem...stay in your room

:confused3

ditto le cellier - definitely a couples massage - grand floridian spa is nice but saratoga is better. spending time at the resorts and in the hot tubs. as you will be staying at the boardwalk - flying fish is lovely for dinner but i have also heard great things about the yachtsman steakhouse. there is so much to do - i know there is childcare at boardwalk, but if you're kids are younger and you want to go out for a nice meal without them, i highly recommend fairy godmothers - they actually bring a suitcase full of toys and books suitable for the ages of the children they are babysitting for.

Any other ideas???
Definitely do massages:) Also, maybe a specialty cruise? my dh and i always do the fishing excursion--we like that, but there are also fireworks cruises. There is adventures club in Pleasure Island. Eat at California Grill when you can watch the fireworks. Take a tandem bike around the boardwalk...Atlantic Dance hall for some dancing is fun too! You can watch the fireworks from the Boardwalk too!
