Ideas for 11yo boy?

I guess I shouldn't have said gift card..as it really isn't. It's basically an activation card to get full access to the game online. I bought it at Target for $27. He plays the free version but wants the full version, hence the card. I realize I can go online and set up an account for him, but this will give him something to unwrap. I also found him a Minecraft tshirt at JCPennys to go with it.

Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for explaining, I thought maybe you could use it to purchase things in the game. I haven't been able to find any Tees in my dses size so thanks for mentioning JCP, I hadn't checked there :)

Here is a big second for 20Q. It is a great little game, and fun for adults too! You would be surprised what that little machine can guess! Really fun!

I asked my DS (17). When he was that age, and even NOW, he would LOVE the big, huge, ginormouos NERF guns. They are so fun!!!!!

The most outside the box thing we are getting DS12 is a chin-up bar for his doorway. Other than that it is games and legos.

Space Camp. They had a black Friday sale going on, $200 off.

I have to find some other things for ds12 to open. Not sure what yet. Maybe some video games and amazon gift cards.

No problem. The only reason I knew they had them was they were pictured in the Black Friday ad. I found it in the young men's area. The T was only $8 but I'm not sure if that was only for BF or if that is the normal price, but it was something to throw in with the card!

We have the old round shaped one here somewhere, but I just bought one that was more if a Hockey Puck shape that said improved on it. It's the newer version and about $12.99. It is where the cards and handheld games are in Walmart ad Target.

I found a Harry potter 20Q at the 99 cent store last year (I think it was 1.99 or 3.99 however). DS enjoyed it - I recently had put it in our donation box and he pulled it out and started playing it again.

My son seems much harder to buy for this year than in years past. I guess because he doesn't have any bigger ticket items on his list. (He gave me a list, it only has 10 items on it, and 2 of them were 'sour stuff' and 'spicy stuff'. LOL) I guess I should be happy, but I'm already done buying for his 15 year old sister, and I need to even everything out.

DS will be 11 in January...He's easy to shop for...
This year, he's getting:

A new bike
Mini luge (sled)
Fitness equipment - a chin up bar, ab wheel & jump rope
Monopoly WWII (Thanks to a DISer's post)

Model rocket components
Wrecking ball kit & KEVA planks (mindware)
Mini-weapons of Mass Destruction book
RC Helicopter
Perplexus
Games - Nowhere to Go, Tenzies, Booray
Nerf or LARP sword
An air soft gun
Antique cars, small toys as stocking stuffers (loves Pickers & Pawn Stars)
Amazon gift card (got a kindle fire last year - reads ALL the time!)

Heres what I know my DS 12 is getting for sure.

Nerf Gun
Football cards organized by team in a binder
Indoor Nerf basketball hoop
Build your own Birdhouse and Bird trivia game
Fishing Pole
New Skateboard
2013 Guiness Book of World Records

Rubber Duck nativity set
Duck mush belly pillow

DSS-11 is getting a video game, an ornament and some cash from us. They are not with us for Christmas this year (just Christmas Eve day) so we tend to not do a whole lot of "gifts" on the "off" years. Both DSS are saving to help offset a gift from their grandfather (IPad mini and newest iPod touch), so we're helping by giving them the cash.

If it was our year for Christmas with them, we would be getting him some fishing gear, an air soft gun, and likely the Rootbeer making kit previously mentioned (the boy lives rootbeer!). We also talked about getting him an e-reader (NOT a tablet, just the reader) for his birthday in March.
