Hi!
My boyfriend and I are headed to Disney for a week in April and I am planning out our week's itinerary. Any suggestions about restaurants/itinerary would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Molly

Hi!!

DH and I are absolutely crazy about Raglan Road (great restaurant and with the bands and the dances, excellent ambiance!). I've never been there but a lot of people recommend Jellyrolls. If you like bowling, Splitsville is fun and their food (junk food) is really good.

You did not mention if you were going to the parks or if you were staying in the WDW hotels.

In MK, we thought Be our guest for dinner was nice (decor is breathtaking!), in Epcot we love Via Napoli, in Hollywood Studios, we thougth that Sci-Fi Dine-in was fun and different. Yak & Yeti is our favorite in Animal Kingdom Lodge.

In the WDW Hotels restaurants, 'Ohana and Jiko are excellent options and can be very romantic. Boma has the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. How about a drink at California Grill Lounge (I don't care for the food there as I've been diseppointed with what I have tried but they have nice drinks) while watching the fireworks?

If you stay in the WDW hotels, you can get free tickets for Disney Quest, they have a lot of classic arcades that we liked. I wouldn't spend a whole day there but it's nice to visit.

You also get tickets (2 for the price of 1) on mini-golf that you can use at Fantasia Fairways. The adult course is really challenging. DH and I are definitely fans of that course.

DH and I have been to WDW 6 times so if you have any other question, feel free to ask. :)

My husband and I had a great honeymoon! Some of our highlights were (remembering from memory):
Day 1 - We arrived fairly early from the west coast (red eye flight), checked in and went to MK for the day. We did everything we wanted (including the kiddo rides) and we had a fabulous dinner at 'Ohana. Do not miss MSEP or Wishes!

Day 2 - Mini golf at winter summerland and spent the afternoon/evening in the World Showcase. Ate dinner at San Angel (got terrible food poisoning....) and watched illuminations. Its my favorite Disney fireworks display!

Day 3 - Resort day (pool, sleeping in, trying to recover!)

Day 4 - Morning at Animal Kingdom, had lunch at Yak and Yeti/ Afternoon and evening in Hollywood Studios. We had dinner at the Brown Derby and watched the second showing of Fantasmic.

Day 5 - Couples massage at the Grand Floridian. We shopped in the afternoon and had a nice dinner at Raglan Road.

Day 6 - Pre park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace. Hopped over to Epcot to do Future world and more world showcase. Had dinner at Le Cellier.

Day 7 - ????? I'm pretty sure we spent most of the day in Epcot.

Day 8 - Flew Home

That being said, enjoy being there as a couple. You do not need to be going a million miles an hour doing everything. Pick and choose what is most important and enjoy the vacation you are about to spend together.
