Any suggestions on ideal ages to visit KSC? In August, we will have a 9 yo girl and 6 yo boy. Both like space but are not "space crazy". We'll be visiting WDW in the future I'm sure, so I'm wondering if we should do KSC this year, or put it off for another 1-2 years.
FTR, we live in Houston, and haven't even taken them to Johnson Space Center yet. :rolleyes1

If you have the time now is when to go. My ds was 5 when we first took him. Now he'll be 14 on our summer trip and is still insisting on going every trip. The Atlantis exhibit is extremely well done.

While I was 11 first time I went to Kennedy, I think my brother was 6 (and this was ages ago). Mind you, the shuttle program was active at this time and we saw Challenger just after it was pulled out of a prep bay for movement to the launch pad...so that added to the cool factor. BUT- if the kids have any interest in space...I think they'll enjoy. We also live Houston area and I think my youngest was 3 or 4 the first time she went to Johnson. It was kind of a frustrating visit as the adults were more into the historic parts of the visit (seeing mission control and going out to see the Saturn V), but there were a number of interactive things inside that kept them entertained.
