Idea for resort specific resale restriction removal

Just spit balling the idea that instead of doing that buy x points get all your point to qualify as direct, they could instead just give your points access to that one resort your purchased.

Maybe it's 100-150 at which point if you buy at RIV you can use all your resale on the same membership there but not the future DL Villa.

This could also work for those who buy RIV resale but then maybe buy BLT direct.

Maybe restrictions need to be different on how many points you buy though and wouldn't include any future resale purchases.

That seems complicated to administer and I don't see the benefit to Disney. (I doubt it would have a measurable impact on sales). IMO, Disney will just adjust the incentives until they get the level of sales they want. That's easier to administer and measure. YMMV.

I agree the best way for them To increase sales is to offer better incentives vs making a rule to qualify resale points.

I think Disney is in it for the long haul with the changes,
