idea for Power of Ten Fundraiser

Hi guys,

Just wanted to post another idea for a fundraiser. I just recently did this at our work place and will be making a donation for $775.00 later today. I work at an insurance/ annuities company where we can generally dress business casual. I went through HR at our company and they allow us to do dress down days for charities. People buy a sticker for $5 and our allowed to wear jeans/ sneakers on a designated day. Thought this might be an easy option for some to do at their workplace. You do have to contact GKTW and they will send you a form to fill out and some materials such as their logo and information packet. Sometimes it's hard to find friends who can afford to give $10 but it was easy to get a whole bunch of people to give $5 to be able to wear jeans to work.

Hope maybe someone else can use this idea!

What a great idea !!! Unfortunatly, at my office, we are pretty much casual all the time....it used to be that we could only wear jeans on Fridays, but now it doesn't seem to matter what day it is.
