I am heading to Disney in June with my DH, DH and friend...my husband and I have drivers' licenses...what should I do about my son? He is 6'1 and 13! Will a school id picture work or does he need other ID? Also, my friend doesn't drive...legally blind...can see but has hideous peripheral vision and cannot pass the eye exam...would a nondrivers dmv ID be ok? What else could he use to fly?

Thanks

you can bring his school id
but at the age of 13 no matter how tall her is all he needs is you to say he is your son and his age.
you can bring his birth certificate if you want to show them this.
all government state issued photo ids are accepted

I use my passport when I fly, the state of NJ still issues licenses WITHOUT pictures. So, it's the only photo id I have.

I called Southwest and was told a birth certificate was fine for my nine year old.

Jel--They also issue them WITH a photo, you just hav to go in person to renew rather than doing so through the mail. And at any time you can change from non-photo to photo by going in and paying a small fee. I do bother to take the time to go in and get a photo license.

I also carry my passport with me when travelling, it makes everything so much easier.
