any ideas on how to do this...I've hear a couple of things...
1. big "X" on it with duct tape...
2. Koosh balls on the zippers...

anything else...not sure how to tell mine apart from everyone elses (obviously they will be tagged!)

Curled ribbon, curly shoestrings, pretty much anything goes so you recognize it.

I've used the curly ribbon before in really oddball colors. I've also got lime green plastic nametags on the bags. Two of our three bags are actually huge duffels from Lands End. (one rolls the other is plain). I bought these in a bright red color and had them monogrammed with our last name.

This year, since luggage locks are a thing of the past, I'm using the neon-colored cable-ties to secure the zippers, etc. on bags. That will be one other way to tell my bags from all the other tourists!

Thanks! I didn't even think about getting "different" colored luggage-I was going to use the typical blue or black...I'm gonna have to look and see what lands end has!

Check out ebags.com, they have alot to chose from and the prices aren't bad either. I think if you sign up for their e-mail offers they will send you a 10.00 off your first purchase.

The colored strap that they sell is also quite helpful. I have used this several times and a strap in lime green is very hard to miss and it seems that not too many people think to use this!

I know the lime green mickey heads have been discussed before, but I went to Home Deport and in the paint department they have Disney paint colors by Behr(sp?) Paint, and the paint chips are shaped like a mickey head. I got the lime green (Sonic Boom) and am going to laminate them and use them for luggage tags to be able to pick them out. (I'll use the regular closed tags with name and address, but the lime green tags will be easy to spot).
