on which building to stay in at CBR. We are trying to hit all the resorts at WDW and CBR is our next one to conquer. Which building would you stay at and why? We have a 2 yr old DD too so we want to be closest to kiddie stuff.

Thanks.

I can tell you where not to stay. dont stay in Aruba. We stayed there when our children were 2 and it was horrible carrying two- two year olds all the way accross the parking lot to the bus stop and across the bridge to eat. Never went back there, so I cant say where to go. Good luck.

We stayed in Jamaica, and liked it a lot. Now, it is a bit of a walk to the food court and main pool, but we found it relaxing, walking through Parrot Cay. But, maybe it wouldn't be so fun with a 2 year old. The Jamaica quiet pool was just a few feet away from our room, though.

I can tell you not to stay in Trinidad South. It's very far from the themed pool and the food court. We had a 15 minute walk to the food court from our room, and we weren't even in the building that is farthest away.

We are leaving Thursday and will stay at CBR for 2 nights before heading over to the Wilderness Lodge. Are you aware that for an extra fee they will assign you to a "preferred" location that gets you close to the action? As we are only there briefly and as we have our own vehicle, I don't care where they assign us. If you are spending your whole trip there, however, the preferred fee might be worth it.

For what it's worth, we had lunch here last spring break and did some shopping. The resort looked lovely. Everything was freshly painted and very colorful. The kids were dying to go in the neat pool -- so we are staying this time. I also appreciate that the rooms here are a bit larger than the other Mods. With 2 little children along for the ride, every square foot counts!

Have fun!

We stayed there in January before and after our cruise - Barbados before (it was not too bad - it's the next village after preferred) and Jamaica after (the good: it's first bus pick up and drop off, the bad: it's a LONG way to the food court and theme pool). I've stayed at almost every resort and never paid for preferred, but after this trip I said that the only way I'd stay at CBR again is in preferred - it's huge! They do have an internal bus that goes around the resort only and we ended up using that a lot.

When my daughters were little, we stayed at Martinique, Building 25. It was a very short walk to the food court and to the main pool area. I think it is a prefererred area now, but with a 2 year old it might be worth the extra money. Now that my daughters are older, we prefer Jamaica. Enjoy your stay.
