Got waht u meant. I am so over easter by 3 pm today. My DS4 wanted to play egg hunt all day!!! I just sat on a plastic egg a few minutes back. Sometimes being of Human species sucks!!

IMHO.... Spring Break should never be scheduled for anyweek surrounding Easter. There's a limit to how much a mom can handle.

Our spring break has never been the same week of easter and I checked the schedule for next year and it is then..UGHHHHH!!!! I will sooooo be feeling your pain then!!!

I have had one of those days though..I was just telling DH that I am only 31 and I feel like I am 70!!

That's what I was thinking. I don't mind the eggs, and my girls will play with them until summer having their own egg hunts and such. It is that grass I can't stand. I can never seem to get it all up. I'll think I'll have it all and then will start seeing it again. Ugh!!!!

I'd buy both the "Some species eat their young," and the "Thats why God gives us babies first instead of teenagers."

I'd actually buy them in grosse, and send them to everyone I know.

Might even use them as Christmas Cards!!

No Easter baskets in this house - we did art supplies and a small plush bunny each. Oh, and silly wind up yellow chicks - they were too cute hopping all over the place! Oh no, there was no way any of that plastic grass stuff was coming into this house!

We did do an egg hunt, but it was over quickly! Then I enjoyed the rest of the day b/c I think I ate more chocolate than anyone else! I always ration their sweets, so most of their Easter candy is still in the freezer, and they will get to enjoy it for the next 2 weeks! Thanks to that, we had no sugar highs in our house. Unfortunately I was very bad with rationing myself, and I will now pay for that! Ugh, just when my weight was on a downward trend, it's going back up again thanks to Easter! Can you tell I have no self control around chocolate?
