I'd appreciate some opinions.

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning some weekends at WDW. I have the November weekend at The Boardwalk for The Food and Wine Festival. We are also staying at The Boardwalk for Christmas.
It's Labor Day weekend I am undecided about. We just stayed at The Caribbean Beach Resort, we like it there and the rooms are nice since they have all been recently renovated. We don't generally spend a lot of time at the pool or eating at the resort, maybe just a quick refreshing dip in the quiet pool and a couple cups of coffee in the morning. The resort is so big, that's what we don't like about it.
We've always enjoyed the French Quarter. It's small and we like to take the boat over to the Downtown Disney area.
I think I read that the resort is showing it's age and needs some renovations. I'm sure it's not THAT shabby but I did enjoy the newness of the Caribbean rooms.
I know I should just choose one and get over it but I thought I'd get some random opinions from a bunch of strangers to help me decide!

I haven't seen the resort in a while. I thought the pool looked faded when I saw it 2 years ago. The FL sun is so strong. I think that I would prefer to stay at the CBR and request a room in a bldg that is close to the OPR. The rooms are larger and they have a better set up in them for storage. I just stayed there for the first time since maybe 1991 and was very surprised at how nice the room and the grounds were. I loved the walk to OPR. We did like the POFQ when it was new I loved the New Orleans feel the place had but as our children got older they wanted to be at POR. Then we out grew the rooms.
