Does the driver's license you use to board the ship have to have the same address as you list on the reservation?

I ask because my daughter is engaged. They get married in September. He is moving here from out of state. She most likely will keep our address on her license since they will be renting for while and won't have a permanent address. But his address will be the place he left and he will probably put the new address of the apartment (unless he puts ours....his family lives in another state).

Right now, I have TBD as the second passenger on the reservation because I did not know how to list him, unless I could use our address. That is what I did for our upcoming Disney trip next month (he is joining us at Disney World, and I just listed our address for everyone).

Soooooo.....does his address on the reservation HAVE to match the address on his license?

They're more concerned about his face matching the picture on the driver's license. When you figure that passports don't list a home address, why would security be concerned about an address on a driver's license?

I would just list your address as his.

No. And I know this for a fact because my MIL sails with us frequently, and I just have our address on her reservation for the sake of simplicity, since I am paying for her and managing all details anyway. Her CO residency on a res with an LA address on file has never been brought up by DCL in four sailings.

They don’t care.

Even if they wanted to care, at least my state doesn’t require that you get a new license whenever you move, so it’s totally fine to have an outdated address on the license. We just let the dmv know and can carry on with that license until renewal time. So they would run into issues if they tried to have addresses match.
