Iconic DCA landmark?

Thanks again, everyone.
Since I am a noob to DCA, do I really want to know why its called "Mickey's Death Wheel"?

Ahhh, a newbie... ;)

Mickey's "Fun Wheel" is an innocent looking ferris wheel type ride in Paradise Pier. For extra "fun" try the swinging gondolas option. Then you will know how it got it's nickname of Mickey's Death Wheel. It has been know to terrify otherwise stalwart rollercoaster junkies...

That actually sounds fun, but I just read up on the height restrictions, so I'll probably have to opt for the gondolas of fun, instead of death ;)

Yeah, like me! Rollercoasters-yes! Wheel of Death-Never! :scared1: Ironic though, that my favorite pictures are the ones I took of the wheel at night across the water. I haven't seen the CCT yet, but the wheel will probably always represent DCA to me.
