Ichetucknee Springs - any experiences?

I met up with a friend of a friend recently who is from the USA. I told him I was heading over to Florida this summer, and he said that I had to take a trip to a state park called Ichetucknee Springs.

I was recommended to go tubing there, which sounds like so much fun! I had a quick look at the website too, and it just looks beautiful

I'm wondering if any of you guys had been there or have anything to share about Ichetucknee?

It's a nice cool way to spend the day as the water is still COLD on a hot summer day. There are many places to rent tubes.

The park is located northwest of Gainesville and is about a 2-hour drive from the Orlando area.
