We got one of these just under a year ago, and he has turned out to be the best dog!
He is so good natured and easy going. He is soooo good with the kids and easy to train and is virtually odorless.
He is just the right size, not too big, not too small...Small enough to have in a small place but big enough you can play outside and play fetch and frisbee and all that.
Anyway, if someone is looking for a good medium sized family breed that is not overly energetic, you might want to look into this breed.
The one drawback is that they bark when they are left alone for long periods of time, but that happens with lots of breeds.
