Is it true that the ice cubes used in the iced tea at Palo are frozen cubes of iced tea - not water? That way the tea doesn't get diluted. Anybody have it that way?
And another question, is there a charge for the iced tea in Palo?
I remember the iced tea at Palo being fresh brewed. Can't imagine they would use fountain tea in Palo since it is supposed to be a cut above the MDR's and they serve fresh brewed in the MDR's.
Can't say I ever noticed the iced cubes! Oh and no charge.
Also a yes fresh brewed and a yes on the ice cubes, our last 4 visits. No there is no charge and I end up with 3 of 4 glasses during the meal - I do enjoy it.
Wow, I never noticed that the ice tea at Palo had ice tea ice cubes. Learn something new every day! I'll have to check next time. I do know that it was freshly brewed!
Yes, as others have confirmed, they use tea ice cubes (& it is definitely brewed and not from the fountain). I like my tea pretty weak, and I felt a bit bad when I had to explain to my server that I was diluting it with water because it was too strong!
