Is it true that the ice cubes used in the iced tea at Palo are frozen cubes of iced tea - not water? That way the tea doesn't get diluted. Anybody have it that way?

And another question, is there a charge for the iced tea in Palo?

I didn't have those but the tea is from the fountain machine and not fresh brewed.

I did have the tea ice cubes at Palo on one occasion. Pleasantly surprised. I can't imagine it came from the fountain machine though.

I have had both regular cubes and ice tea cubes at Palo. I do not think it tastes like fountain tea.

I remember the iced tea at Palo being fresh brewed. Can't imagine they would use fountain tea in Palo since it is supposed to be a cut above the MDR's and they serve fresh brewed in the MDR's.

Can't say I ever noticed the iced cubes! Oh and no charge.

No charge for the iced tea, have had the ice tea cubes once I think and it hasn't been from the fountain on any of my visits.

OP here - thanks everybody! Looks like it is confirmed - and something I am going to have to try.

Wow, I never noticed that the ice tea at Palo had ice tea ice cubes. Learn something new every day! I'll have to check next time. I do know that it was freshly brewed!

Yes, as others have confirmed, they use tea ice cubes (& it is definitely brewed and not from the fountain). I like my tea pretty weak, and I felt a bit bad when I had to explain to my server that I was diluting it with water because it was too strong! :)
