Ok I am sitting here eatting icecream and drinking Tea.. My question is, just how far are you willing to travel for GOOD icecream??
Here in NJ we have a small family owned icecream parlor called HOFFMANS.. there is one in Point Pleasant and another in Spring Lake.... They have THE BEST icecream I have ever had.. I can't even eat Bryers anymore because it just doesn't work for me... I travel 40 minutes each way to get to Hoffmans just for icecream..
Right now.. I am eatting Peppermint Icecream... It is vanilla with tiny bits and pieces of candycanes/ pepermint candies.. I swear they melt in your mouth..
Ok so am I the ONLY icecream nut out there or what??

There was a time that a local convenience store (no longer in operation) carried their own brands in gallon sizes....delicious! I'd eat it all by myself in a day and a half. That's a LOT of ice cream for one woman to eat alone! Guess it's a good thing they're no longer in business or I'd be too big by now to move.
As far as traveling a good distance for ice cream, not necessary for me.
