are there ice makers in the fridges or ice machines dotted about and if so do you have to pay for it? we use loads of it all always buy a polystyrene cooler box for the boot of the car and fill it with ice. (probably the bist tip i ever got).

Ice is freely available (and free ;) )

Studios have access to ice machines - I think the layout of each resort determines where you'll find them, but we've come across them sometimes by the pool, sometimes in a room at the end of the corridor - and I think (but can't actually remember  ) there's a small freezer section in the studio fridge, although you'd struggle to make enough ice in there to fill a cooler box!

1-bedrooms and larger (with a full kitchen) will have an ice-maker in the fridge :)

thanks for that hilary its our first trip home and with 9 weeks to go we are getting impatient. after leaving the park and heading to the car you need a nice cool drink while waiting for the aircon to get to grips with the heat. we prefer to drive to the parks rather that wait for buses, with the girls getting worn out and irrritable, dont like inflicting them on others.
