ice water form counter service restaurants

We visit WDW often and we are making a trip to DLR soon. At WDW you can walk up to the counter and they will give you free glass of ice water. Does DLR do this also? Planning what we need to pack and pick up on arrival.Thanks!

Yes, as the PP said, you can free cups of ice water at the CS locations. Just note that in most cases, they'll give you a child sized cup. I've asked for a regular sized cup with only mixed luck.

It varies on where you go for food. Most quick service places will you a child size cup when you ask for a "water cup". At Plaza Inn where they have the big plastic cups, you can fill it with ice water from the self serve drink dispenser. Over at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in DCA, they also have SS drink dispensers and we have been able to fill regular size disposable paper cups with ice and water without any issues, same with Pizza Port in DL. Rancho Zocalo at DL also has the drink dispensers, however they ask you take a small plastic cup they have at the registers.

most will give small water cups but if you ask for a cup of ice they give bigger cups. Have you thought about refillable cups that you bring?

I don't notice a taste with ice. Alternatively you can bring powder flavor packets. Just use a little.
