Ice Storm!!!!

I just got up a little while ago to let the dogs out, and when I opened the back door I was created with slush on the ground and ice, and it is still raining slush.

I am so not ready for this yet.

Anyone else have crazy weather yet? Sorry not to mention down south with their hurricanes and all.

The leaves on our tree's are just starting to turn it still only fall here. No I would not be ready for winter yet.

I don't go into hibernation mode till January ice would throw my whole schedule off.

My very large silver Maple is still completely green.

Northern Indiana had some sleet yesterday! No I'm NOT ready for winter! Today DH has a race and I have to sit outside to help register people. It's 33 degrees out!!!! I must be crazy to get up at 6 am on a Sunday knowing I'm going to sit outside and freeze my can off!!!

I'm a former Buffalo resident, so I certainly can feel your pain! We simply became fed-up with the long winters, short summers, and the whole WNY experience, sadly to say.

We still have many family & friends who live there, and when I tell them that we are still in t-shirts and shorts and swimming on the weekends they are in disbelief.

Heck, we moved to the Carolinas in 2001 and decided to go back for Christmas that year, but the 83 inch snowfall that happened over the Holidays made us realize in no uncertain terms that we clearly made the right choice, for our sanity.

I am sorry you have to have that weather so early! Your summer wasn't too good, either? I heard it was cold and rainy...

We had very strange weather here yesterday! But we got to see a lot of beautiful RainBows!

It's cold here today but non of that stuff you are reporting!

I guess a trip to Buffalo is out of the question today! I don't want to see that just yet!
