Ice Station Cool

It's at Epcot outside of Innoventions West in a funny igloo-looking thing. Definitely worth experiencing.

Seeing people react to the "Beverly" is pure sick fun(and yes it's that awful)

We always take a quick walk through even though DD and DS will NOT try the sodas. I think maybe one of them will sip the watermelon one.

We're from the north, so we go in to see all that snow that we just miss so much - NOT (LOL)! It's a great place to cool down for minute.

I FINALLY found this on my last trip to WDW. I had always known about it but didn't really ever notice it and didn't think to look for it, but then I'd always get back home and slap myself for not finding it. So the last time we went to Epcot, we rode Test Track first and then set out to find ISC! lol :cool1:

It's very similar to the World of Coke in Atlanta if you've ever been there.

The "Beverly" is not very appealing to most people. I really like the watermelon drink from China and there's another fruity one from Laos or Vietnam that's good too.

It's a little tricky to find. Not very well marked, just one small sign I believe. Took me 4 trips to find it

When you arrive at the main Epcot gate, you walk past Spaceship Earth (for some folks, the big ball). There is a large fountain that is programmed to music. On one side of the fountain is Mouse Gears, a very large store. On the other side of the fountain (just past the Fountainview Restaurant), is Ice Station Cool. Looks kind of like an igloo from the outside.

What they have inside are Coke products, not Cokes. So there is no cola beverage that I can remember.

"Beverly" is also my favorite. I would definately buy this if it was available.

I think I taste a hint of cloves in this drink.
Anybody agree ?

I didn't try it but my husband did. His stomach was bothering him that morning and even though he hated Beverly, he said his stomach started to feel much better after drinking some.

prob due to the ginger and cloves in it. we didn't mind it at all, not our fav thing, but it wasn't gag gross, but we are also from maine and we have a pretty bad drink that orginated and is found mostly in our state called "moxie". those of you who know it, will understand totally.

isc was a fun quick stop. ds and dh got a kick out of it too. only took about 5 min. we had to laugh as we walked through the cold in our shorts, and people were freezing. the day we flew out, it was 34 below in maine with the windchill.

Back to the conversation on Beverly - Gigi1313 - yes, I love Compari too, I think the tastes are similar.

And it does have a stomach settling quality. Very nice to drink after a big meal! That's probably when it is drank (drunk, drinked?) in Italy. (Sorry, I just had a "oh no, I flunked eighth grade grammar" moment ;-)

If you feel better after sampling Beverly that makes sense because IT TASTES LIKE YUCKY MEDICINE :bitelip: I think the watermelon drink should be marketed here in the U.S. :earsboy:

I would be VERY happy to buy the watermelon flavor from China and the Kinley lemon from Israel. Those two are my favorites and I think i like them enough to drink them regularly...

As for the Beverly...it is good to know that other people do enjoy them :)

I love the Ice Station Cool, even though its not a major attraction, it has become one of the staples of my Disney vacations :)

Ok question for everyone... have you ever seen someone fill up a bottle or larger cup? or maybe done this yourself?

Yes, I have filled up a small water bottle with Beverly. No one said anything about it. I sipped on that all day - YUM!!!

When I went in November, my father decided to try Beverly first. He took a cup and gave my mom a cup. I didn't even have time to warn them! The looks on their faces almost made me die laughing!!! :rotfl: I tried a sip to see what all the hype was about. I didn't think it was THAT horrible, but it certainly wasn't good!

I always tell my wife that I am going to fill up a nalgene bottle but I never have... I have seen many people do it though. Maybe I will have the guts this next trip.
