ice rink

thought somewhere i read one of the hotels has an outside ice rink??? do you know where? cost? times etc cannot imagine skating at night with the lights and xmas atmosphere¬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's out the back of Hotel New York & is fantastic, twinkling lights in the trees & music playing over the PA system (was Dirty Dancing soundtrack when we went in March). It stays open until 10pm and I believe the price is 10 euros which includes skate hire etc.

I thought it would be shut by March but we'd be really pleased if it's still open when we get there!

We'll be arriving on the 11th March, does anyone know if it was still open up to the 16th March this year or know what the dates are for next year?
Are there any websites with more info and the dates?

It was open week commencing 13th March this year when we went & also week commencing 14th March last year, so fingers crossed you should be fine

It's open until the 9th April 2007, and currently costs 12 euros for adults and 9 euros for children
