ice cream sundaes question

We will be staying at POR and only visiting Epcot. I don't think we want to make the trek all the way to Beaches and Cream, so my question is, where is there a good place to get a famous Disney ice cream sundae (anywhere in DTD)? Thanks.

Well it si not an official made by the mouse Sundae but Ghiradelli's in DTD is awesome. The fudge is incredible. We had one in Chicago when we lived there and made the trek once a month. Worth every calorie and on par with Beaches and Cream in every way.

We are going to have lunch at the Earl of Sandwhich and Ice Cream at Ghiradellis.

We went to Ghiradelli's and had their chocolate raspberry sundae....it was very, very good. Worth the trip to DTD just for the ice cream. You can also go online to Ghiradelli's website and they will send you a coupon for a buy one sundae and get one free. You just have to make sure you check off that you live within 50 miles of Ghiradelli's. They send you an email back with the coupon for you to print. My friend and I both got a coupon so we went twice to have sundaes.

IMHO, as much as I love the ice cream sundae's at B&C I think the Plaza's are just a bit better Yes, of course there is Ghiradelli's at DTD which are pretty good as well. BUT, I just LOVE the Plaza's ice cream, so if you're in MK you can stop by at the ice cream shop right by the Plaza and you won't be disappointed
