Well, I've got 2 ice cream sandwich cakes in my freezer for tomorrow's family reunion. I did an extremely easy version that my kids could help me with.
For the first one I placed a layer of banana split flavor ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9X13 pan. On top of that, I drizzled half a jar of strawberry sundae sauce. Then 8 oz. of Cool Whip Free. I repeated the layers one more time and placed it in the freezer. Tomorrow, before serving, I'll top it with some chopped strawberries and a maraschino cherry.
The second cake is peanut butter flavored ice cream sandwiches with chocolate sauce and Cool Whip free. Before serving, I'll chop up some peanut butter cups and sprinkle them on top. I'll try to remember to take pictures before and after cutting.
