Is this worth they money? It will cost our family nearly $100 to see it.

Thanks for asking. I was planning to see this too. I didn't realize there was an admission charge. How much is it per person? And then, of course, I'm interested in the replies.

We went 2 years ago - we were a family of 4, 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby and I think we paid around $40? to get in. I remember thinking it was quite a lot for what we saw. We did enjoy the exhibit and my dd enjoyed the ice slides but I think we had seen the entire exhibt in about 45 minutes. We probably spent more time having our free hot chocolate in the Gaylord Palms lobby (which is very nice).
While I thought the sculptures were impressive, I'm not sure it was great value for money. It was also very cold, we needed the coats that where provided and were still quite chilly, gloves would be useful.

My DD went last year, one of her friends had their birthday party there. She said it was amazing. Of course, everything "cool" is amazing to a 10 yr old. The birthday girls' mother did email some pictures and it did look amazing. They had a great time and were in the ice part for over an hour.

I'm not sure about the one at the Gaylord Palms but last year we were at the Opryland Gaylord for a cheer competition and went to ICE there and it was just amazing. To see what they could carve out of ice and the detail. The girls really enjoyed it. They had a blast on the slides and were just amazed at the fact that everything was made out of ice.
