Yes in 2009.

Enjoyed it. They give you a parka to wear and you need to dress warmly. You walk around at your own pace and then afterwards get a cup of cocoa and can sit in the atrium and have a look around the hotel.

Ice sculptures and there was an ice slide to have a go on (I did!)

We did it on a monday and it was quiet. I know I booked online when we were in the US - there was a pepsi code to save a few dollars. DD was free as she was under 4.

Yes in 2009. Have booked for this year (snow & ice) as in 2009 we didn't take the girls. Booked on line on an off peak day and will collect at the resort. As well as paying for ice, don't forget the dreaded car park charges, although I seem to remember a small discount for people holding ice tickets. I would say it is a half day once you've wondered round the rest of the hotel, hunted for gnomes etc.

We went on Christmas Day last year and then had dinner at Villa De Flora afterwards. We went early and it was very quiet, so we got through quite quickly. As has been said, you do get a parka to wear, but make sure you have something warm on your feet and legs as well.

Re parking charges, as we were eating at Villa De Flora the waiter endorsed our ticket so that the parking was free.
