We're thinking of driving down next winter. According to mapquest, I75 is 1 and 1/2 hours longer than I95. (we're driving from Barrie). What is everyones personal opinion on these 2 routes? What would you do?
TIA
Karen

We always take I75. It seems like a more direct route. It's an easy drive for us. Have fun.

With I-95 you travel through the mountains so you have to be prepared for snow.We are also driving down December of 2003 for Christmas and we are opting for the I-75.

We've always taken I75 because we go during the winter, and like Kellya says, the weather can be bad the other way. However, we have friends that go to Saint Augustine in March and they always take the other way and haven't had too many problems, except bad fog.

Take the I-75....
Your going in winter, there will be snow, if there is any kind of storm you will get stuck on the I95 and can usually get out if you are on the I75.

There are also more things to do and more places to stop along the I-75
