I would never, ever forget to take...

We always try to remember our binoculars. We don't take it into the parks, but if we have a room with a balcony (staying at Bay Lake this summer!), you can zoom in on MK or across the lake. I try to take as little as possible into the parks, I know that is nearly impossible if you have kids with you, but I still use a waste pack, really don't care what it looks like, just super comfortable and light weight!

Backpack, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, cheap dollar store ponchos (many, for one each day, as we go in summer) extra pair of contact lens, back up prescription glasses.

1. Nightlight for the bathroom
2. Ziplock bags in all sizes! Never underestimate the power of a ziplock. They have come in handy more times than I can count.
3. DVC cards for discounts
4. Band-aids
5. Paper/crayons/pencils/seek-and-find books, etc. Anything to keep the kids happy while waiting for dinner. My kids aren't allowed to play with electronics at the dinner table.
6. Phone chargers
7. Baseball hats
8. Detergent tablets for doing laundry (DVC rooms have washer/dryer in them)
9. Coffee (a necessity)
10. Corkscrew for wine!

1. Chargers (2)
2. Ziploc bags, one gallon bag for wet clothes, 2 quart bags for phones and wallet.
3. Baby wipes
4. Extra shirt and socks
5. Gum (they don't sell gum in the parks, why it's so clean)
6. Comb
7. Emergen C packets
8. Evian mini facial mister bottle
9. Cologne

External iPhone battery! It's small enough it fits in my shorts pocket and especially with MDE now it's a necessity. A good quality one eliminates the need for a charger for us and then I can charge my phone while walking around the parks instead of being tied to an outlet.

I also second Band Aid Blister blockers, those are a legitimate godsend.

-Camera
-Broken in shoes
-the obvious like, id/credit cards/cash/clothing/toiletries (though they can be bought there, just pricey)
-portable charger
-snacks-granola bars, fruit, veggies, bagels or other breakfast items to save on time/cash
-i pod speakers!- most of the hotels have some kind of hook up on their stereos BUT some now have no alarm clock if I remember correctly, and some of the older ones only worked with phones/the older ipods, not the newer nanos. We like to have music to pump us up in the mornings!
-A plastic bag of somesort for LAUNDRY! (again, used to snag the one they had in the room but I've noticed it not being there anymore)

shared a room with my friend who drove and asked her to bring a case of water. It was GREAT. Since we always fly, we know it's not always going to happen. But knowing I don't have to pay (what is it $3?) for a bottle of water I don't get stingy when it comes to drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. Also saved a bunch of money

Reminder that you don't need to pay for bottled water in the parks. You can get a free cup of ice water any time you want from any CS restaurant.

Vaseline - We went to Disney and suffered terrible blisters within the first couple of days. We used bandages on our feet, but we were miserable by the end of the week with our blistered feet. Two years ago, someone told us to grease the bottom of our feet & toes to eliminate the friction that causes blisters. It sounded messy, but we gave it a try. Each day we would grease the bottom of our feet & toes. It sounds messy to do that and then to put on your socks & shoes over that, but by the end of the day, there is no mess and our feet were blister free and soft & smooth all week long. It is a must have for us on each and every trip. I'm sure you can find other products to use as well, but we just take a jar of Vaseline.

In no particular order:
1.) My Disney Rewards Credit Card
2.) Prescription Meds
3.) I will never, ever, ever go without Moleskin & scissors! I know i can buy moleskin at Dis if need be but will not go there without it.
4.) Extra contact lenses/my prescription glasses
5.) My Disney pins
6.) I have to bring my own facial moisturizer and makeup remover
7.) My Pandora bracelet/Disney charms
8.) Phone and camera chargers
9.) My broken-in sneakers/usually change into them at night and wear flip flops during day.
10.) I always bring my own beach towel/Disney related of course :thumbsup2
#3 moleskin ? What is that. And scissors never have taken them anywhere.

Congrats!!! I think you just qualified for an honorary AARP card. :joker:

I just bid on and won these blow up travel pillows on eBay which were very cheap like $3 for two of them and very impressed. I figured would be good to use as additional support when I'm sleeping, for either my knees or feet. I also got a,sharper image memory foam travel pillow,at Marshalls which I figure I can add on top of the crappy hotel pillow.

All of the above look like amazing ideas.

To add,
Hand sanitizer ( because you can't always get to a bathroom right away)
Gold bond medicated powder (to treat heat rash and prevent it)
Both above items you can get at Target in their trial/travel size section
Keep light weight flip flops in your back back to change into for water rides, that way you can change back into dry shoes when you get of the ride.
Nexium bandaids IMO are the best for blisters because they are water proof and stay on if you sweat.
Magic bands
Sunglasses
Water proof camera
Sunscreen
Hair ties if you have long hair.
Travel size baby wipes (whether you have a child or not these babies come in handy) Also for the women ~( individually wrapped feminine wipes can be a life saver along with tampons or pads)~ Probably TMI but you asked.
Rain Ponchos
Some pack bottled water. ( Disney provides cups of ice water in quick service restaurants just ask!) Take advantage it gets hot.
The list can go on and on. But hopefully some of tis will help some one. :-)

As APs, we always have our Disney "to-go" back pack all set up for the next trip. Must have items: sunscreen, ponchos, a lil med-kit I made up with essentials, bottles of water, granola bars/snacks, 2-3 phone chargers, sunglasses, and we wear comfy shoes and breathable clothing! I never understand how people wear jeans or flip-flops to Disney. Jeans are not breathable, and awful when it's hot an humid out (80% of the time) and flip flops are not proper shoes....be prepared for sore feet and potentially crushed toes.

Everything here is good, I would add that I take a backpack with a camelback reservoir in it. I don't have to worry about water bottles and I can fill it up the night before and put it in the fridge. It is also easy for everyone to access.
